How do I get to the Shoals Area of Northwest Alabama?

There are four small cities within the Shoals Area of Northwest Alabama. We live in Tuscumbia, the smallest and oldest city in the Shoals. Florence is the largest city and where our University of North Alabama is located. The other two cities are Sheffield and Muscle Shoals. The beautiful Tennessee River runs through our area.

Driving is the best way to get to the Shoals Area:

U.S. Highway 72 runs east and west through the Shoals Area and is our main highway. We actually live about 3 blocks from that highway and the hotel that we are strongly considering is located on that highway in Tuscumbia, AL. Our closest Interstate is I-65 running north toward Nashville, TN and south toward Birmingham, AL. We are located about 60 miles from I-65 at Athens, AL; about 50 miles from I-65 at Decatur, AL; and about 60 miles from I-65 at Cullman, AL.
